Sneakerness is known globally for being one of the world’s greatest sneaker conventions, where footwear fans from around the planet meetup to talk kicks, trade pairs and share their passion. So what happened when the event finally arrived in London late last year? We’re here to share a recap of the event, as the Crepslocker team was lucky enough to join forces with eBay sneakers to share some exclusive industry insights and offer up some incredible pairs!
The event featured a dedicated Fashion & Trends stage, where over the course of the weekend there were plenty of talks regarding the state of the sneaker and fashion industry. We rounded up some of the UK’s finest talent and seasoned footwear experts to share their thoughts on collecting sneakers, the future of the scene and so much more.
Crepslocker’s very-own Creative Director took centre stage at the event, sharing exclusive insights into the Crepslocker vision and how we continue to celebrate and promote sneaker culture. The talk was presented to an engaged crowd, with a keen energy in the room present. Other industry experts also shared their take on all things sneakers, with a questions and answer session at the end of the talk allowing for audience members to pitch queries to our presenters.
There was also an incredible opportunity to cop some limited-edition and rare sneakers for unbelievably prices. We offered pairs such as Louis Vuitton’s LV Sneaker in “Black Denim” and Dior’s popular B30 silhouette, with the kicks selling for £700 and £450 respectively.
The auctions left sneakerheads keen to get their hands on these rare and desirable kicks, with the winner leaving the event with fresh heat for unbelievable prices. Fear not though, as those that didn’t win could still browse the immense selections of sneakers for sale at the event. From classics such as Air Jordan 4s right through to rare pairs from the likes of Yeezy, there was something for everyone at the event. But that’s not all, there was also an incredible selection of clothing on offer too!
Finally, it’s important to note just how epic the pre-loved selection was at Sneakerness London. There were thousands of pairs on offer that were ready for new homes, allowing sneakerheads to cop grails for wallet-friendly prices. It’s safe to say that Sneakerness was a footwear fan’s paradise, and here at Crepslocker we’re already eagerly awaiting the next event!
