Next year marks the 30th anniversary of the Air Max 95, and it seems that the Swoosh has big plans for the model according to rumours circulating the internet. While it’s likely that we’ll see a recreation of the OG Nike Air Max 95 “Neon” to celebrate the occasion, sources also tell us that we’re going to see an intra-brand collaboration between Nike SB and Nike Sportswear. Set to work on the AM95, the two brands are gearing up to create another legendary fusion of worlds. We’ve seen plenty of collabs between Nike’s dedicated skateboarding division and other subsidiaries in recent years, such as the hugely-popular Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 “Pine Green” that launched in 2023.
As it stands, it’s currently unclear exactly how the collaborative sneakers will look, as we don’t have any imagery to go off. However, we’d imagine that Nike SB will likely alter the tooling of the AM95 to make it more skate-ready. Be sure to keep it locked in right here at Crepslocker, as we’ll be sharing more on this developing story as it happens.
