Kith and New Balance have teamed up again to refresh two Made in UK classics, the 991v1 and 991v2. Teased earlier by Ronnie Fieg, the collaboration brings refined colourways and premium materials to both silhouettes while keeping the understated style fans expect.
The partnership continues a close creative relationship between Kith and New Balance. After collaborating on projects like the ABZORB 2010 release and a 990v4 teaser last year, this drop focuses on subtle, elevated design choices. Each shoe uses pigskin suede overlays over a breathable mesh base, along with reflective accents and discreet co-branding on the tongue, dubrae, and footbed.
The 991v1 arrives in a soft green described as Vetiver. It features ABZORB pods and ENCAP cushioning to deliver a plush, stable ride. The 991v2 appears in a taupe Moonrock hue and combines ABZORB SBS pods, ENCAP cushioning, and FuelCell technology for a slightly more responsive underfoot feel.
