The Air Jordan 1 Low '85 "Royal" Is Set to Drop Next Year

Published: by Jack Aldrich

2025 is set to be a huge year for Jordan Brand, as the label is set to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Air Jordan 1, one of the most legendary sneakers of all time. Designed by Peter Moore as Michael Jordan’s first-ever signature sneaker, the silhouette has since seen hundreds of colourways over the years, as well as countless limited-edition releases. To help celebrate the monumental occasion, we’re rumoured to be receiving a brand-new pair in the form of the Air Jordan 1 Low ‘85 “Royal”. Showcasing a period-correct silhouette, the kicks take on the iconic blue and black colourway that we’ve come to know and love, and will no doubt prove popular with sneakerheads around the globe.

While right now we’ve only got mockups to go from, it seems that the pair will be crafted from premium tumbled leather and boast classic details such as Nike Air branding on the tongues, Swoosh logos stitched onto either side and an Air midsole for optimum cushioning and support. As it stands, there’s no official release date for this pair confirmed just yet, but be sure to keep it locked in right here at Crepslocker for more as we get it.
