The Five Best Jordans for Kids

Published: by Jack Aldrich

Air Jordan has grown to become one of the biggest brands in the world. It’s really no surprise considering that the brand is built upon Michael Jordan and his everlasting impact on the world of basketball. Initially founded in 1985 and originally setting out to craft the world’s best performance footwear, the label has now expanded into the lifestyle sector too, with Air Jordans of all shapes and sizes favoured by the sneakerhead community around the world. From the humble Air Jordan 1 right through to the hugely-hyped Air Jordan 4, Jumpman kicks are synonymous with style across the globe.

As well as making sneakers for both men and women, Jordan Brand is also known for creating plenty of options for kids too. In fact, pretty much all Jordan models are available in kids’ sizing, whether that’s GS, PS or TD sizing (Grade School, Preschool and Toddler). But with so many options out there, it can be easy to get caught up when deciding which pair to buy for your little ones. Here at Crepslocker we’ve carefully selected five of our favourite kids’ Jordans, so check out our choices below and be sure to shop our huge range of Air Jordan footwear for kids right here!

PSG x AJ4 GSParis Saint-Germain x Air Jordan 4 Retro "Bordeaux" (GS)

First on our list is a collaboration that uses Tinker Hatfield’s legendary 1989 silhouette as the base layer. Created as part of an ongoing partnership between Jordan Brand and French football team Paris Saint-Germain, the AJ4 is decked out in PSG’s signature colours for a gorgeous arrangement. OG colour-blocking patterns are featured across the upper, with the “Bordeaux” and black hits sitting perfectly upon the white base layer. Limited-edition touches come in the form of “Paname” tabs on the laterals and PSG/Jumpman branding on the heel tabs. Now available in GS sizing, these will definitely make a solid addition to your collection!

AJ3 Cement Reimagined GSAir Jordan 3 Retro "White Cement Reimagined" (GS)

Next up is another Tinker Hatfield masterpiece in the form of the Air Jordan 3 “White Cement Reimagined”. First hitting the market back in 1988, the AJ3 is a fan favourite amongst sneakerheads and continues to prove popular today, especially this OG colourway that looks cleaner than ever even today. Crafted from supple white leather, the kicks display the famous “elephant print” pattern in grey, while other notable features include an aged-white midsole, red Jumpman branding at the tongues and Nike Air motifs on the heel tabs. A must have for any budding sneakerhead!

AJ1 High OG Lost and FoundAir Jordan 1 Retro High "Lost & Found" (GS)

Launched in late 2022, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High “Lost & Found” reimagines one of the most legendary Air Jordan colourways of all time. First seen in 1985, the AJ1 “Chicago” was the very first Jordan to hit the market, with the L&F acting as the recreation of a perfectly-preserved pair from ‘85. Showcasing pre-aged leather across the uppers, the kicks are dressed in a neat red, white and black arrangement, with OG Nike Air branding, Swoosh logos and an Air-filled midsole completing the design. Now available in GS sizing, any Air Jordan collector needs to own these.

AJ1 Low UNCAir Jordan 1 Low "UNC" (GS)

On the topic of the Air Jordan 1, we’ve also seen an increase in popularity when it comes to the low-top variant of the silhouette. Launched in ‘85 along with its high-top counterpart, the AJ1 Low is seen here in a neat “UNC” colourway that pays homage to Michael Jackson’s time playing for the University of North Carolina. Hits of light blue are placed upon a white and black base layer, with branding coming in the form of Swoosh logos and Jumpman motifs on the tongues. Ideal for both the basketball court and the streets, this GS pair is easily one of our favourite AJ1 Lows.

AJ4 White Cement GSAir Jordan 4 Retro "White Oreo" (GS)

Another appearance from the popular Air Jordan 4, this time around we’re taking a look at the red-hot “White Oreo” colourway from 2021. Showcasing an effortlessly clean look, the kicks are crafted from premium leather and boast all the great looks you’d expect from a Jordan 4. The white and grey uppers are accentuated with hits of red that really make the colourway pop, while speckle details are present across the midsole for another layer of depth. Available in GS sizing too, upgrade your sneaker rotation with this must-have pair today.
