The long-awaited Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Rookie Card - Away” has finally been officially announced after months of teasing via social media. The first of two colourways that are set to arrive from Marcus Jordan’s sneaker store, the kicks draw inspiration from trading cards and Michael Jordan’s rookie season. Decked out in a familiar colourway that’s reminiscent of the AJ1 “Chicago”, the sneakers are crafted from leather and satin, with Trophy Room’s logo embossed onto the toe box for a special-edition feature. Other details include Jordan’s signature embroidered onto the heel counters and a gold-tone metal wings logo at the heels.
Launching in special-edition packaging, the kicks are set to drop via Trophy Room this week, with a global release apparently imminent. As well as this, the second colourway, “Rookie Card - Home” is rumoured to launch later this year.
