Job Description: We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented E-Commerce Product Listing Assistant to join our team. The main responsibility of this role is to create and maintain high-quality product listings on our Shopify website every day.

This includes uploading images, editing product photos, writing accurate descriptions, and ensuring all information is correct, clear, and professionally presented.

Strong English reading and writing skills are essential for this role, as the position requires daily written content and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create new product listings on Shopify with accurate titles, images, descriptions, tags, pricing, and variants.

• Upload, resize, and organise product images to meet website standards.

• Take high-quality product images in-house for items where brand or manufacturer imagery is not provided.

• Use basic photo-editing tools (e.g., Photoshop) to crop, clean, and adjust images.

• Ensure all product information is written in clear, correct English.

• Proofread all listings for spelling, grammar, clarity, and accuracy.

• Update existing listings with improved images or updated details.

• Organise items into correct categories and collections.

• Maintain an up-to-date and error-free online product catalogue.

• Identify and correct listing issues such as missing images, incorrect pricing, or duplicate items.

• Work with the e-commerce team to meet daily upload targets.

• Support additional tasks such as tagging, metadata updating, and stock checks.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong English reading and writing ability is a must.

• Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms is preferred.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Basic Photoshop or image-editing skills.

• Ability to write clear and accurate product descriptions.

• Good organisation and ability to follow structured processes.

• Confident using spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets).

• Strong time-management skills.

• Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently.

Job Details:

• Start date: As soon as possible.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. There may be some requirements to work weekends as and when the business requires.
• Location: Starting in Blackburn, Lancashire, UK. BB1
