The Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe Reimagined” Could See a Release This Year

Published: by Jack Aldrich

With the hype behind retro Air Jordan 1 colourways continuing to grow, it’s no surprise that Jordan Brand is plotting to bring back another classic pair for 2024. Originally an OG colourway that debuted in 1985, it seems that the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe” will be the next pair to get the “Reimagined” treatment. First seen on 2022’s “Lost & Found Chicago” AJ1, the process involves switching up classic colourways with a twist, such as the suede offering of the Air Jordan 1 “Royal” that launched at the tail end of 2023. The “Black Toe” is a clean-looking pair from the get go, sporting a red, black and white arrangement that’s not too dissimilar from the Chicagos.

As of yet, it’s unclear what element of the model will be changed during the “Reimagined” process, as we only have mock-up images to go from. Rumoured to feature pre-aged details such as those on the L&F release, we can expect cracked leather panels and pre-yellowed soles if this is the case. Sources claim that the pair will be released in late 2024, so be sure to stay locked in right here at Crepslocker, where we’ll share more on this developing story as it happens. In the meantime, check out the rest of our site too, where you’ll find the latest in streetwear, high-fashion and hyped sneakers!
